slug

Considering that we are on the second floor and the balcony is really far from the ground, I'm really surprised that this slug (and a couple others before it) managed to find its way to my mom's orchid plant, where it proceeded to eat the new shoots that were coming out of what we thought was a dead orchid plant. Needless to say I was extremely unhappy that this slug was already making this orchid's life more difficult that it already was so when I picked it off I was tempted to be really mean and sprinkle salt on it but my mom said that was just too gross and mean so I didn't.

I felt worse today so definitely overdid it yesterday...I was feeling better (or at least I thought) but I think by staying out late I just made myself more sick again. Sigh.
